NakedPoppy: CLEAN Beauty
We all know by now that consuming nourishing food and keeping yo body moving is important to your health. And the focus tends to be on what you're putting INTO your body.
But........have you ever thought about the products you use ON your body? (dunh, dunh, DUNHHH)
Up to 60 percent of what you apply to your skin makes its way into your bloodstream, so choosing safe products is a VERY important decision you should make for your health. Clean beauty products contain wholesome, nourishing ingredients; offer amazing scents, textures, and experiences; and work really well, too. After all, your skin is the LARGEST organ - but it tends to be overlooked when it comes to care.
I am super passionate about helping all of you find products that provide a beautiful self-care experience and really work some magic for your skin. Which is where NakedPoppy comes in!
NakedPoppy reached out to me a little while ago with the offer to try some of their products and I am ALL FOR hunting down new, clean, additions to improve my skincare and makeup collection.
What I was not expecting though, was how quickly I would fall in love with these products.
I mean, BIG love.
Like, moved right past "like," to "LOVE."
NakedPoppy takes a personalized approach when it comes to determining what would be the best fit for you, through a cool beauty assessment, here. After taking the beauty assessment, every product is rated just for you - and the picks are placed in your personalized boutique. This lets you shop for products that will look amazing without wasting time on the stuff that's not for you, because nobody has time or money for that.
The products that I ended up picking quickly made it into my top rotation and I'm already almost out of two of the products, which SAYS A LOT. I will definitely be reordering!
Here's the scoop on all of the products they gave me:
*Their products are also vegan and cruelty-free*
This has rapidly become one of my favorite cleansers of ALL TIME. It's the cleanser you're searching for that's fresh, clean and maintains a healthy balance of skin PH to prevent irritation and/or breakouts.
It cleans perfectly without stripping your skin or leaving an oily film on the surface (we all know what I'm talking about).
Not to mention, the price point is amazing.
Key Ingredients: Baobab extract, Quinoa extract, Aloe, and Lactic and polyhydroxy acids

Alright, y'all. This is THE GREATEST essence I've ever used. Hands down. Obsessed. I'm already on my second bottle. It visible brightens, tones, lifts, plumps and refreshes skin. If you've never used an essence before, please google korean skincare right now. This is one of the keys to vibrant skin all thanks to nutrient-rich products, like an essence. Your skincare should be mineral and nutrient dense, just like your food.
Key Ingredients: Chia seed, White tea, Licorice extract
Another one: Obsessed. Obsessed. OBSESSED. My new favorite facial oil.
It's light weight, penetrates the skin quickly, smells like the perfect combination of nature and clean
(I cant even describe it accurately, other than it's like being rained on in a whimsical forest from the fluffiest clouds you've ever seen)
Key Ingredients (they're SPECTACULAR): Rosehip seed oil (rosa rubiginosa), Jojoba oil, Argan oil, Poppy seed oil
by Kari Gran
This lip product gives my holy grail Laneige lip mask a run for it's money. It's found a different place in my skincare lineup, though: it's the ONLY product I use on my lips when wearing a full face of makeup now.
The texture is silky yet stays for hours and has the perfect pop of nude pink that's sheer but gives your face that nice contrast you're looking for when you're going for a "no makeup, makeup look." Plus, it smells fresh, and a hint of mint (which is great for breath freshening), makes the lip plump, hydrated, and has great ingredients for long term rejuvenation.
Key Ingredients: Vitamin E, Camellia oil, and Sunflower oil
This is the PERFECT and only product I use for winged eyeliner.
Need I say more?
Key Ingredients: Cornflower oil, Iron oxides
